Inside the wonderfully eccentric St Conan's Kirk on the north shore of Loch Awe in Argyll. Built from 1907 to 1930, it drew together what its designer considered to be the best or most interesting features found in many other churches. More pics and info: undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/l…
ALT Inside St Conan's Kirk. The image shows the interior of a broad stone church. We are looking into an apse with a semi-circular far end that has an inner shape formed by a series of colonnaded arches. There are seats in the church facing away from us, towards a table with a cross on it.
