Currently in a theater that’s being invaded by mice. I saw one. But then saw others. Kind of distracting. I am going to make a list later: movies where I encountered mice in the theater. I think this is the 4th time it’s happened while I’ve been in NYC.

The MUSK documentary is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple. Elon Musk did his best to keep it from being seen, so it’s no coincidence that it was removed from theaters before the midterms.
I just finished watching it, and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t see it before the election because it would’ve scared the fuck out of me. I’m so glad the midterms turned out like they did.
This man and others like him need to be held accountable. He is unhinged, a monster, a murderer, a narcissist, and an evil motherfucker with a God complex.

The devastation one man has been allowed to cause to our country and our planet over the last two years is staggering, all without any constraints from a megalomaniac president and a cowardly, greed-possessed Congress.

Millions of 3-year-old phones get replaced every single year because they feel "slow." And the hardware inside them is barely the problem.
Not the processor. Not the RAM. Not the age of the phone. Not the brand, and not the fact that a newer model just launched.
Last month I almost spent $1,100 on a new phone. Mine had started taking forever to open the camera, the keyboard stuttered when I typed, and switching between apps felt like wading through mud. I was convinced it was dying. Then a friend dragged me to see a repair technician who has handled over 3,000 phones in 12 years, mostly for friends, family, and small businesses who walk in saying the exact same sentence: "It just got slow for no reason."
He took my phone, spent about 4 minutes on it, and handed it back feeling like new. Then he said something I haven't stopped thinking about:
"Nobody's phone is actually slow at 3 years. What's slow is everything that's been quietly piling up underneath it since the day you bought it. Background apps, stuffed storage, a tired battery, years of clutter. None of it shows on the screen, so you blame the phone and the phone company happily lets you."
He then walked me through the exact 7 things he checks, in order, every single time. None of them cost money. Most take under 2 minutes. Several of them made me feel genuinely ridiculous for how close I came to buying a new phone.

Janet Jackson says Justin Timberlake was only supposed to rip off the outer layer of her costume at the 2004 Super Bowl. He ripped off more and exposed her breast on live TV. More than 500,000 people complained to the FCC. CBS was fined $550,000. His career kept going.
It was February 1, 2004, in Houston. The last line of the song he was singing was "gonna have you naked by the end of this song." She says they rehearsed it, and that the plan was to leave a red layer showing underneath. She says more came off than was supposed to.
A day later she apologized on camera. She says her management told her to, and that she asked them what she was apologizing for, since it was an accident. CBS and MTV reportedly blacklisted her. The NFL was reportedly asked to refund $10 million to the halftime sponsor.
Her next album, Damita Jo, sold about 1 million copies, far fewer than her last two. In 2018 Timberlake headlined a Super Bowl halftime show of his own.
Two years after the show she told Oprah it was the first and last time she would talk about it. She said all the emphasis was put on her, not on him. She said that to a degree, yes, he left her hanging.
By then Timberlake had said he probably got 10% of the blame. He also said America is harsher on women, and harsher on ethnic people.
