THE RULE: PROVE SAFETY BEFORE MARKET What evidence should be required before a medical product is brought to market — and what happens when important questions about safety remain unanswered? At her second appearance before the Allison Inquiry, Deanna McLeod, research analyst and founder of an independent medical evidence-review firm, continued presenting her analysis of Ontario health data obtained through freedom-of-information requests. Her presentation examined health-care data relating to Covid-19 cases by vaccination status, neurological and immune-related conditions, blood clots, myocarditis, and reproductive health. She also questioned the clinical trial evidence used to support the rollout and whether the regulatory framework provided sufficient scrutiny of potential risks. McLeod’s analysis raises important questions about how safety signals are identified, investigated, and communicated to the public. Population-level trends alone cannot establish that a vaccine caused a particular outcome, but they can inform further investigation and help identify questions that deserve rigorous examination. A Final Text. A Sudden Death. And Questions That Deserve Answers. During the Allison Inquiry, journalist Rodney Palmer presented a deeply troubling account of Carol Pearce, who died while waiting after receiving a Covid-19 vaccine in Saskatoon. Video footage reportedly shows Carol walking into her daughter’s home and later leaving to get vaccinated. Text messages then capture what would be her final exchange with her daughter Stephanie: “Waiting the 15 minutes” followed by “LOL.” Her daughter replies, “Good job.” Carol’s final message is simply, “Thanks.” According to the account presented, Carol collapsed and died during the post-vaccination waiting period. The Ministry of Health stated at the time that the Coroner Service had determined she died of natural causes. The timing alone does not establish causation, but it raises questions that deserve to be examined with care and transparency. Why was this death attributed to natural causes? What investigation took place, and what information was shared with the family and public? These are serious questions when a death occurs so soon after vaccination. The Allison Inquiry is about listening to people, documenting their experiences, and ensuring difficult questions are not brushed aside. WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR CANADIANS INJURED AFTER COVID-19 VACCINATION? MP Lianne Rood of Middlesex—London and MP Dean Allison of Niagara West are pressing Liberal Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health Maggie Chi on the government’s failure to adequately compensate Canadians who were injured following Covid-19 vaccination. Canadians were urged — and, in many cases, pressured through government mandates — to get vaccinated. Yet those who suffered serious harm are still fighting for recognition, support, and compensation. If the government had the authority to pressure Canadians to get vaccinated, why has it failed to ensure meaningful support for those who were harmed? These Canadians deserve answers, not silence. PERHAPS OUR REQUEST SIMPLY GOT LOST IN THE MINISTER’S INBOX? IT HAPPENS. When will Health Minister Marjorie Michel respond to the concerns raised by Canadians who report Covid-19 vaccine injuries? The Allison Inquiry brought forward testimony from Canadians describing serious health problems due to Covid-19 vaccination. Meanwhile, a coalition of Canadian and international scientists, physicians, and researchers has reportedly called for an immediate halt and recall of Covid-19 mRNA injections, along with an independent public inquiry. The open letter was first sent in March 2025 and resent in August 2026 after receiving no acknowledgment. It raises concerns about residual plasmid DNA, aberrant protein production, IgG4 antibodies, cancer, and mortality. And despite repeated requests for comment regarding the Allison Inquiry, no response has been received. Perhaps our request simply got lost in the Minister’s inbox? It happens. Maybe we should all tag the Honourable Marjorie Michel so our respectful request for a response doesn’t get lost again. After all, when so many scientists and physicians are raising concerns, surely it’s worth asking: Is there something they know that the Minister doesn’t?
