Ben

A couple different mobs of cattle pretty happy with their moves this week, there’s something about seeing cattle in a nice cover crop #covercrop #multispecies #cows #spring #kiwitech #gallagherfence

Couple of new toys should make #seeding24 a bit more enjoyable #shiny #caseih #bourgault #newseeder #newtractor #wheat #canola #barley #discseeder #stubble

Ok #agtwitter anyone had a cow acting drunk, she’s wobbly on her feet, can’t walk straight, walking into fences and even my bike, scared of the other cows and even her own calf, rest of the cows are fine. Love to hear you thoughts #cows #vet #help #farming

The #clover looking great one month post grazing, first pic was 25th July second pic was the other day. This is the paddocks first year out of crop for a couple years and I didn’t sow anything down, great seed bank I’d say.

Moving the weaners off off a #multispecies #covercrop. This crop should bounce back having plenty of moisture below and heading into spring.

😂😂

Filling up the pump and the nozzle snapped and fuel went everywhere and everything burst into flames. I was able to put myself out quickly and was able to smother the pump with my drizabone before it did any damage. Good reminder to check ALL your equipment for damage before use

Mixing up a bit of #urea to go out this week through the boom as a foliar. Will put it out with some #nutrisoil too. I think I’ll upgrade my mixing setup next year as it’s a bit slow going #grainline #goldacres #vicnotill #wheat #canola #barley

Left side got grazed heavily for short period about 8 weeks ago Right side didn’t get touched This shows how animals can stimulate growth when managed correctly as now 8 weeks later the grazed side has overtaken the untouched side. #sheep #grass #regenag #regenerative

Cows and calves pretty happy to get into the multi species cover crop #covercrop #multispecies #cows #angus #regenag #regenerative #farm #agtwitter

Beautiful evening down by the river

New sheds up in the air, now just for walls and a little bit of concrete in one bay #shed #erected #big #crane #lift

New shed coming along, will be lifted tomorrow #workshop #machinery #hay #shed

First move in this paddock for the cattle and last of the lambs, done a good job here leaving nice cover behind, last 2 pics are before and after #feed #grass #clover #cows #sheep #gallagherfence #kiwitech #regenerative

Scepter wheat coming along nice. Had 40kg/ha of urea treated with fluvi-coat from @Lawrie_Co 3 weeks ago

Multi-species cover crop from @grant_sims looking good, cows wishing they were on this side of the fence…
