A Hong Kong national arrested with 1kg of cocaine at Hong Kong International Airport is believed to be linked to an international drug trafficking syndicate dismantled by PDRM.
The drugs were found concealed in his shoes during a customs inspection after he arrived from Malaysia.

Bukit Aman said the Chinese national arrested in Hong Kong with cocaine worth nearly RM700,000 collected the drugs from an unidentified person at a Penang supermarket and was promised RM1,200 to transport them.
The case is one of two suspected cocaine smuggling cases involving Chinese nationals who arrived in Hong Kong from Penang in recent days.

Negeri Sembilan MB Ismail Lasim says the state assembly will not be dissolved, following the postponement of its meeting originally scheduled for mid-October.
He said preparations for the state's 2027 budget have been finalised, with the government awaiting confirmation of the next assembly sitting date.

Pakatan Harapan's 11 Negeri Sembilan assemblymen have yet to receive an official notice for the state assembly sitting, despite the state government's plan to convene it on Nov 26.
"Even if it is sent within the next day or two, the state assembly sitting cannot take place on Nov 26, as that would fall outside the required 28-day notice period," opposition leader J Arul Kumar told BH.

Some 32.3 million WhatsApp users in Malaysia could be exposed to cyberattacks involving malicious files designed to steal personal information and gain access to financial accounts.

Umno has rejected allegations of irregularities in its RM50 million fundraising campaign for ex-PM Najib Razak, including claims that some donations came from businessmen who had secured projects from KKDW.

Malaysia has identified 3,045 flood hotspots nationwide, with Kelantan recording the highest number at 609, followed by Pahang with 572 and Terengganu with 460.
PETRA identified poor drainage, high tides, uncontrolled development and improper waste disposal as among the factors contributing to flooding in these areas.

The Home Ministry will abide by the AGC's recommendation to seek court clarification on the implementation of ex-PM Najib Razak's house arrest.
Minister Saifuddin Nasution said judicial intervention was necessary due to differing interpretations of Najib's discharge order between the AGC and his lawyers, adding that the Prisons Department would comply with any ruling.
