A new Practice Guidance update in @HEP_Journal provides evidence-based recommendations on using semaglutide therapy for MASH, including patient selection, comorbidity management, and monitoring strategies.

The updated 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans removed any specific guidance on alcohol consumption, leaving Americans without clear, evidence-based recommendations.
Despite these changes, #AASLD will continue to educate the public about the impact of alcohol consumption on #liverhealth.

It has been an amazing transplant year at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
We surpassed the volume of previous years. Our abdominal transplant programs completed milestones in liver (322), kidney (506), kidney/pancreas (52), and pancreas alone (2). New innovations abound - robotic kidney transplantation and living donation, machine perfusion of organs, advances in organ retrieval, transplant oncology, training and educational excellence, and research initiatives that will shape the future of transplantation.
Our programs have continued to provide our patients with excellence in clinical outcomes, hope, and unparalleled experience.
It is always gratifying to hear from patients that “it just works so well here at Mayo” which is a milestone in and of itself.
