Regarding kids and skill acquisition I don’t think the answer is less screen time I think the answer is more screen time The apps and the AI can optimize skill acquisition and practice and iteration faster than any other method Even for offline activity, YouTube and apps can normalize high level performance at anything You can pull up a video of a five year old doing anything competitively at a high level Learning chess and learning sports and learning math and learning reading is all the same thing Do an action, get feedback, repeat.
