Gm,
The Sheeple started after we had to let the real flock go.
Times were rough that year.
A multi-year drought killed our hay crop.
Lost income, and no feed for the winter.
My boys were devastated.
I didn't know what else to do.
So I drew them.
I made up characters and shared them with my boys every day.
Each one took 80 to 150 hours.
As the pen and ink flock grew, we mourned the real one a little less.
Then we gave them a permanent home.
Inscribed as 4-meggers on Bitcoin, forever.
Now they bring joy to my boys and anyone who looks at them.
And if times get hard again, the flock can still help carry the ranch.
There will only ever be ten.
They're not just sheep to us.
They're the flock we got to keep🐑
I like pen and ink because there's no undo.
Once the line is down, it's down. You can hatch over a mistake or lean into it, but you can't erase it. That constraint forces better decisions up front and makes the finished piece feel more honest. The contrast is absolute, black on white, no gradients to hide behind. It rewards attention and punishes sloppiness in equal measure.
It's also the medium that still feels closest to how people actually recorded things for centuries. Maps, manuscripts, technical drawings, family records. There's a directness to it that digital tools, for all their flexibility, don't quite replicate.
Gm,
Summer 2024, someone asked to see art you're proud of.
I posted this guy.
Six months later he was inscribed on Bitcoin as the first Sheeple piece.
A full 4megger of pen and ink.
Nine more followed.
Still proud of him🫡
Remember when we used to inscribe Art on chain even tho the fees were this high?
I do... did it any ways.
I feel that if the fees ever get wild like this again people will be scrambling like they did last time, except it will be too late because we will all be priced out.
Gm,
People say "sheep" like it's an insult.
I raised sheep. They aren't stupid.
They flock because the flock is where it's safe.
Ordinals showed me how much of that is in all of us.
Every mint, every pump, every rug.
The herd moves and we move with it.
That's what the Sheeple are really about.
Not mocking anyone.
Just a quiet mirror.
What are you following?
And why?
You are the sheep now.
But that's not the insult you think it is🐑

The first one I drew for my boys.
The first 4megger in the flock.

Gm,
Bitcoin taught me something before ordinals ever did.
Proof of work is the whole point.
My miners burn energy so the record can't be faked.
My pen burns hours so the art can't be either.
Every line in a Sheeple piece is a hash nobody else could have found.
AI can make a thousand images a minute.
It can't make one of these🫡
Gm,
I've been exploring the world outside the busts that make up my Four Megger Sheeple collection. It's happening through a series of pen and ink illustrations that only exist in my sketchbook. If you want to know what I plan to do with the originals. Simple answer. They're going to the Four Megger holders. Each one carries a small expansion of the story already being told

I've been one of the main voices during the Ordinals bull run to criticize and call out grifters and bad actors.
But after 2 years of down only for Ordinals, I think it's only fair to give the people who are still around their flowers and the respect they deserve as well:
