The researchers note that portable filtration can cost less than HVAC upgrades. DIY air cleaners built with MERV 13 filters, such as the Corsi-Rosenthal Box, are another low-cost option supported by EPA research: epa.gov/system/files/documen…

Do you need to sit right near the air purifier? This test in a classroom found large reductions in small particles throughout the room. Good work, CR Box! 👏 @CRFoundationUS pubs.acs.org/aeacd5/article-…

If you're dealing with #wildfire smoke, get relief by duct taping a MERV-13 or better HVAC filter to the back of a box fan. Good brands: Filtrete, Nordic Pure, Tex Air This one cleans about 100 million cubit ft of air per year when left on 24/7. 👍

LOL! 🤣 We're grateful for all the work @Liesl4CleanAir is doing to develop FREE middle school STEM lessons plans ... including lighting fires in her garage. The CR STEM Kits will be ready for back-to-school. Sorry, no🔥involved. But if you want to pilot the lessons, let us know

Dear neighbors: No, my house is not on fire. I’m just burning paper in a pan in my garage to generate particles to test out my CR box with a new particle counter. Don’t you ever do that?!? 🙃 @CRFoundationUS
