Daniel Suárez fans were in abundance at the NASCAR Cup Series Freeway Insurance 500 at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona on Sunday. @RosenbergNiall has the story:

We had good speed early in the race and were able to fight our way back into the top 15 after losing some spots on pit road. We struggled a little with the balance of the car as the track changed but the team kept working on it & making good adjustments. Even with a late penalty that sent us to the back, we never gave up and managed to come away with a top 10 finish! Proud of this team today! Also, pretty cool to have our @Freeway_Ins Chevy on track for the Freeway 500! 👊🏽

P14 today. Not the result we were looking for because I felt like our car had the potential for more. We had some good track position early on, but unfortunately, things didn’t play out in our favor as the race went on. Lost some ground in Stage 2 and struggled with the balance of the car in the final stage.
We’ll take what we learned and keep working to get better. Appreciate everyone on this 7 team for the effort. 👊🏽
