Red Ribbon Week is a great time for parents/youth to take pledge to live drug free. It is never too early for parents to start conversation about dangers of drug use/abuse. Let’s work together to set our kids on path to bright futures where they can follow dreams & achieve goals.

Another great day fishing! 🎣
Back on the water for Day 2! 🎣✨ The momentum continued as LOOP NOLA, the DEA New Orleans Field Division, and the DEA Educational Foundation hosted another fantastic group of youth... this time bringing out 25 students and two chaperones from Garyville Magnet Middle School! #NewOrleans Through our #OperationEngage initiative, DEA personnel stepped into mentor roles right along the bank: guiding students as they cast their lines, sharing personal experiences, and hosting open discussions about making positive, drug-free life choices. Outdoor recreation like fishing offers youth a healthy, engaging outlet and proves that strong mentorship makes all the difference. Thank you to Garyville Magnet Middle School and all the DEA team members for making Day 2 such a success! 🐟💪 #DEA #DrugFreeYouth @DEAHQ @TheJusticeDept

Thrilled to be positively impacting young lives together with this awesome program! 🎣 @DEANEWORLEANS @LoopNola
🎣 Hooked on Healthy Choices! 🌿 LOOP NOLA recently partnered with the DEA and the DEA Educational Foundation to host an unforgettable educational fishing day for 28 incredible students and chaperones from Harry S. Truman Middle School in New Orleans! Beyond casting lines, seven DEA team members joined in to mentor students, share water safety tips, and lead conversations on drug prevention and responsible decision-making. Experiential outdoor learning shows us that building strong, healthy communities starts with positive mentorship and a lot of fun on the water! 🐟✨ #LOOPNOLA #DEA #YouthMentorship #NewOrleans @DEAHQ @TheJusticeDept

Prevention starts with delaying first use. The earlier substance use begins, the greater the impact on the developing brain. Age matters. Protect your brain. Check out the APF explainer video. #ProtectYourBrain #AgeMatters
