Ice-core records used in the IPCC’s 2,000-year temperature reconstructions show remarkably weak correlations with modern temperatures.

West Antarctica sits on top of a volcanic rift.
Thwaites and Pine Island, Antarctica's two fastest thinning glaciers, sit directly above strong geothermal anomalies.
The glaciers are being melted from below, not above, and atmospheric data backs this up.
A recent study shows central west Antarctica has cooled around 1C per decade over the past 20 years.
The surface is cooling, the base is heating, and melt is concentrated where the crust is hottest.
Public messaging insists CO2 is melting Antarctica. But the air is cooling, with the only real melt restricted to the west, to regions sitting atop a hot volcanic rift.
It is argued that Earth's weakening magnetic shield is contributing to these unusually widespread displays.

To construct the base alone, a single small wind turbine requires the burning of 170 tons of coal just to make its steel components, namely the rebar.
Then on top of that you have 140 cubic meters of concrete. This is just for the base, and of a small turbine -- it ignores the hundreds of tons of fiberglass, aluminum and copper that go into the turbine itself.
You also have to consider that the majority of turbines standing today will need replacing before 2050, with the majority of those materials including the concrete for the base almost impossible to reuse.
As governments continue to chase Net Zero, millions of wind turbines will be built just to replace the ones we already have. Tearing up land, burning coal and pouring billions of tons of concrete.
This is far from clean energy. It's a dirty illusion.
After a summer of fire-and-brimstone heat coverage from the MSM, France’s early freeze has attracted rather less attention.

The authors argue that this leaves virtually no net accumulation of fossil-origin carbon, despite rising emissions.

Solar activity has taken another sharp dive. October 2026 closed with a preliminary monthly sunspot number of just 45.7 — the lowest since November 2021.

Was January’s extraordinary magnetic disturbance simply the consequence of an exceptional solar storm—or did it expose a vulnerability in Earth’s changing magnetic shield?

Pinatubo added CO₂ to the atmosphere, cooled the planet via sulfur aerosols, and was followed by one of the sharpest slowdowns in atmospheric CO₂ accumulation in the modern observational record—all while human emissions continued unabated.

China emits as much CO2 in 16 days as Canada emits in an entire year. Australia's annual total takes China just 12 days to emit, while Britain's takes barely 9 days.
Combined, Canada, Australia and the UK emit about 1.23 billion tonnes a year. China emits that much in roughly 37 days.
So, even if all three countries eliminated every tonne of fossil CO2, closing every factory, power station and banning every gas vehicle, China would replace the entire annual reduction in little more than five weeks.
Yet, Western governments are deliberately making energy scarcer and more expensive, by dismantling dependable sources, restricting oil and gas exploration and loading industry with carbon taxes and net zero mandates.
Steel, chemicals, fertilizers, refining and manufacturing are driven overseas, often to countries burning more coal. So the emissions do not disappear. Only the jobs, tax revenues and energy security do.
The West impoverishes itself. China profits.
Latest figures show an 'off the charts' 13.582 Gt gain on Oct 17. And by Oct 20, cumulative SMB gains on Greenland since Sept 1 had reached 124.5 Gt, well above the 1981–2010 average.

Polar bear numbers have risen dramatically over the past 60 years.
Bears once rarely seen are now regularly approaching settlements. One Nunavut elder recalled seeing none as a child, but as many as 40 a year today.
The Canadian government now warns bear numbers have exceeded what communities can safely live alongside, and its own plan allows populations to be reduced.
In June 2026, officers shot and killed a large bear near Iqaluit. At Grise Fiord, another bear returned six times in four days, and a local hunter eventually had to shoot it. In 2024, two bears killed a worker on Brevoort Island. That same year, another chased a man into his home in Kuujjuaq before moving toward a crowd and being killed.
Across the Arctic, roughly 70 bears a year were shot in defense of life or property between 2020 and 2025.
The bedtime story is that polar bears are disappearing because of climate change. In reality, though, authorities and residents are having to shoot them because there are too many.
Cycle 26 could therefore peak beneath Cycle 24.
