Building on its commitment to sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), EQUATE continues to strengthen responsible plastic scrap management in collaboration with Metal and Recycling Company (MRC), with 20 dedicated collection containers across its plants and facilities. EQUATE is honored to continue its collaboration with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) to promote breast cancer awareness and the importance of preventive healthcare. This year, EQUATE employees had the opportunity to visit KOC Hospital’s Radiology Department, learn about the latest advancements in mammography technology, and gain a deeper understanding of the role of early detection in protecting health. We are proud to be recognized for achieving first place in the Largest Factory category at Made in GCC 2026. The recognition was presented by His Excellency Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Excellency Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council. EQUATE is proud to launch the Automation & Industrial Cybersecurity Internship Program, in collaboration with Honeywell and Kuwait University. Over three months, the program equips Kuwaiti electrical and computer engineers with hands-on experience in the fields that power today's petrochemical plants, including process automation, operational technology, and industrial cybersecurity. As students returned to school after the summer break, Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) and EQUATE joined hands to launch the “Safe Come Back” campaign at Khalifa Alwaqian Boys School. Building on our longstanding partnership, the initiative aims to promote safety awareness and help students start the new academic year with greater awareness and confidence. In collaboration with KOC Hospital, EQUATE hosted the "Together Against Falls" awareness event to promote fall prevention, bone health and safe mobility. Through interactive booths and expert-led discussions in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Radiology, EQUATERs gained valuable knowledge to support their wellbeing both at work and in their daily lives.
