Ethereum scaling has come a long way.
First up: rollups 👇
At the very first EthCC, @VitalikButerin and @karl_dot_tech were exploring Plasma Cash, an early approach to Ethereum scaling.
Karl later went on to co-found @Optimism, while rollups became central to Ethereum's roadmap.
Not every idea becomes the final answer. But these early conversations help move the industry forward.
Six years ago, Vitalik was talking Eth2 behind those doors.
Just 12 days later, France (and then the world) locked down.
