There are a lot of leftists who just idolize and romanticize the drudgery of labor. Ironically, Marx was extremely against this and envisioned a future where tech got so good that there would be very little "socially necessary labor"

The current housing market summed up in the first Zillow listing I looked at today…
Bought in 2021 for $160k, was never worth more than $200k prior.
No new construction, improvements, renovations or updates done over 5 years, asset has only depreciated.
Lists for sale in 2026 at $340k, wants almost 2x for doing nothing but letting the place depreciate.
After almost half a year on market only comes down to $295k
We truly live in the scumbag economy!
