Last week Palmer was a waste of budget that isn’t worth a spot in our squad, and this week he’s an essential start against the “worst team in the Premier League”. It’s crazy how quickly FPL points change perceptions, and all over a poorly taken penalty.

For what it’s worth, I’d much rather be facing Man Utd at home than Sunderland away at this moment. And I don’t think another Palmer penalty in the season of fewer penalties should be feared any more than defcon defenders that poop out 8 points like it’s nothing! As ever with FPL, before outcome there are no right and wrong answers. There is more than one way to play well, and I think prioritising your defenders is one of them!
