A legal immigrant who dots his Is and crosses his Ts is not acceptable because he is Hindu.

Today, Hindus celebrate Kojagari Lakshmi Puja.
On Kojagari Lakshmi Puja day 80 years ago (1946), Islamists demanding Pakistan attacked the town of Noakhali (present day Bangladesh) and surrounding areas- raping, pillaging, murdering and kidnapping.
Time magazine (28 October 1946) reported an estimated 5,000 Hindus killed in eight days and at least 22,550 Hindus were forcibly converted to Islam.
Mahatma Gandhi went to Noakhali to beg for peace, but failed miserably.
Never forget, never forgive.

This week, I was blessed to join Hindu New Yorkers in Queens celebrating Navratri, Durga Puja, Dashain, and Vijayadashami.
We danced garba, performed aarti, witnessed Sindoor Khela, and honored the Goddess Durga.
It was an honor to come together in joy, faith, and community in temples across our city — especially after the attempted mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Illinois last week.

At some point we have to be honest about the fact that we have so called Republicans telling people to vote for communist @amyactonoh over Hindu @VivekGRamaswamy because a lot of people on the right have been conditioned to irrationally hate Indians.

Around 7 pm, an aggressive trespasser entered the temple, littering the space with nasty materials and hurling verbal abuses at the people.
The temple team reacted quickly and locked the inner door. Called the police. Police apprehended the trespasser.
Oct 19- late evening/night
A devotee returning home from Parashakti temple reported being shot at in their car on the road. Nobody was hurt. The attack was reported by temple management to Pontiac police.
