Revisited THE HOLDOVERS last night and must say itā€™s even sweeter and warmer than I remembered. Such a special film that will only age better with time. So glad the 4k lives on my shelf for many more rewatches!

Always been a fan of Lillard, but itā€™s also worth noting that his short, but moving scene in The Life of Chuck is probably one of the most memorable and striking pieces of cinema this year. I think about it often

Matthew Lillard says it "f---ing sucks" that Quentin Tarantino said he wasn't a fan of his acting: ā€œIā€™m very popular in this room. Iā€™m not very popular in Hollywood. Two totally different microcosms, right? And so, you know, itā€™s humbling, and it hurts.ā€ variety.com/2025/film/news/mā€¦

So not only is this show filmed in the same place as the movies and has near identical costumes to the movies but itā€™s also reusing cast members from the movies? Genuinely whatā€™s the point of this?
