My real blocker in launching products is finding more PMs/ceos that can be obsessive in the pre pmf phase. I think of PMs as CEOs.
Nearly everything you build will fail. The only variable under your control is how fast you iterate and keep pushing, and without a lead that can actually do this for 2 cycles, you are order magnitude less likely to succeed.
My advice to startup founders is that post pmf companies look completely different then pre pmf.
Pre pmf CEO/product lead needs to micro manage and get into everyone’s business. Until the people revolt because they are so busy dealing with actual growth problems and know better than the CEO.
I was force pushing code and telling ICs what to code until one by one the demand was breaking things that they knew how to fix better than me.
The best I can say is that all my ideas were directionally right and the ways they were wrong were fixable later.

Some of you had a different rabbit on every continent.
We know. we saw everything. 🐇
Now there's only one. And Kuro can raid every burrow on the planet.
islands stay local, so no lag while you dig.
your carrots, though, are worldwide now.
Just testing!!!
The Burrow Gazette · Issue #1 🗞️
Abols (EU) pulled off 28 raids and swiped 17,279 carrots, 6,000 of them from Rubio, who is still #1. We're changing our locks.

The S2 of @indiesonsolana is officially over and I already miss it 🥹
I spent an intense month co-living and building along other indie game creators and mentors from @solana ecosystem
We shared stories and fears. Tips and tricks. Goals and dreams.
I will never forget this experience.
I became a fan of each one of these people. When they win, I feel like I am winning too.
Thanks to @JustBKhere, @majicpax, @zangimmortal and Vivek for putting so much passion, time and energy making this a reality
Onchain gaming is alive and well. If you don’t trust my word on it, that is okay…
