SEO isn’t hard. People just want to complicate to sell courses and tools.

I audited @cloroai ’s SEO + AI visibility today and… Honestly? This might be one of the strongest SaaS sites I’ve reviewed so far. Not much was fundamentally broken. The bigger opportunity is getting MORE from an already solid foundation. Here’s what stood out 🧵

I’d also invest more in YouTube: → sponsored listicles → versus/comparison roundups → videos on migrating from another SERP API → API walkthroughs → real use cases Give creators something concrete to test + demonstrate. To help reinforce what Cloro does in LLMs

Here’s how I’d prioritize @cloroai SEO approach: 1.Verify technical issues 2.Fix product-info inconsistencies 3.Improve content → API activation 4.Push original research harder 5.Expand third-party + community visibility IMO, Cloro doesn’t need an SEO reset. It needs more leverage.

Earnings are down because of AI answers
To sum up today's news: - Reddit stock is down because of AI answers - Google stock is down because of AI answers - Your web traffic is down because of AI answers Happy to see that worked out well for all parties involved

SEO warming up rn to abuse the hell out of it 🍿
The hottest place to do SEO over the next couple of months is probably going to be Discord. "Discord will let public server messages be discoverable in Google Search. Starting November 16th, all discoverable servers will receive a server webpage. These public server webpages will include summaries of discussions happening in that public server. Starting in mid-December, some messages within these servers will be made publicly accessible on the server webpage. Other community platforms like Reddit have long benefited from search engine traffic as discussions on the platform tend to rank well for various user search queries on Google. Discord could also benefit from this." Reddit is nearly at an all-time high in clicks from Google search. They just had a little bit of a drop, but they're still at 1.8 billion clicks a month on Google Search. Reddit is also cited in AI a ton. This is what you're going to see. You're going to see people starting messages and entire servers on Discord with keywords- things people search. People are going to be linking to these webpages that represent entire servers or messages on a server. The backlinks will drive authority, which makes the pages show up higher. This is going to get quoted, cited, and recommended in AI a lot. People are going to go overboard. Just like with what happened at Digg at the beginning of the year, you're going to see a lot of servers get banned, a lot of users get banned. It got so bad for Digg at the beginning of the year, that Digg had to relaunch as an AI news aggregator because the SEO spam on it had gotten so out of control. Digg had their big relaunch. The SEO spam went crazy. They took everything down and relaunched as only an AI news aggregator. The marketers who win in the long term with this are going to be the ones who don't go crazy with SEO at the beginning. They create a legit community that has engagement. One out of 10 posts, one out of 20 posts are used for SEO. Discord, by the way, has a domain authority of 94 out of 100. That is some of the highest domain authority that you can have. There's also a pattern here. The most clicked websites in search are user-generated content platforms: YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X. Every marketer should be paying attention to this.

Truly, I have become unemployable since I got into entrepreneurship 8 years ago. No matter how tough it gets, I don’t see myself boxed into working completely full time. Maybe contract-based, part-time, or short period. I’d always find a way back into building my THING.
Side effect of building your own thing: you become completely unemployable.

5-minute local SEO check: Open your Google Business Profile on your phone. Test the website, booking, call and messaging options that appear. Right page? Current booking system? Inbox someone checks? A customer finding you is only useful if they can reach you, right?

As someone trying to learn new languages and musical instruments, I find this super-helpful. New habit added
What if just 5 minutes a day could challenge your brain in a whole new way?

Another day.. SEO obsession.. Today I’m doing something different. Instead of auditing what a SaaS is doing wrong, I studied what @zapier is doing right. Ahrefs estimates ~7.2M organic visits/month. But that’s NOT the most interesting part. Here’s what I’d actually steal 🧵

If I were a smaller SaaS, I’d steal this: 1. Pick ONE customer problem 2. Build a useful page around it 3. Show how the product solves it 4. Give them a template/start point 5. Distribute it through a partner/creator Then repeat.

Zapier’s traffic estimate is impressive. But that’s not the moat I’d copy. I’d copy the connection between: Search → Content → Product → Distribution That system is much more useful than chasing traffic for traffic’s sake. Here’s the YT teardown: youtu.be/IWtwSMQUa50
