This midterm was a record breaker for women running for state and federal offices, and for the first time in US history, at least 17 women will serve as US governors simultaneously!

You may be asked to vote on a provisional ballot on Election Day—don't freak out! Provisional voting is used to make sure every eligible voter gets the chance to vote, even when there's a question about the voter's eligibility. If you're asked to vote on a provisional ballot, just make sure to follow poll worker instructions. If you need to bring your ID in to your county Board of Elections after the election, just make sure you do it by Saturday, November 7.
