During Trustee Chapel last week, Dr. @jasonkeithallen announced the establishment of the Benjamin Samuel Speidel Endowed Scholarship for missions students.
Ben, a Spurgeon College student preparing for missionary service, entered his heavenly home on August 15, 2026, at the age of 20. Born on the mission field, he came to Spurgeon College with a desire to study Scripture and help others know Christ.
We were honored to welcome Ben’s parents to campus as we celebrated the establishment of this scholarship, a lasting testament to Ben’s life and heart for the nations that will help prepare future missionaries for faithful service.
We're grateful to see Ben's legacy continue through this scholarship, equipping and sending future missionaries to serve #ForTheChurch and #ForTheNations.

In 1536, William Tyndale was executed for translating the Bible into English. His final recorded prayer? “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.”
Tyndale gave his life so Christians could read God’s Word. But how did we get the Bible, and why can we trust it today?
In this free course from the For the Church Institute (@institute_ftc), Drs. @drjohnmeade and @pjgurry trace the history of Scripture and help Christians grow in confidence in God's Word. Start today:
