What's the magic inside a professional mound that allows it to maintain it's structure game in and game out?
It's BlackStick.
We talked with the Fightin Phils pitcher, Gage Wood, about what’s underneath him, why the material stays where it’s put, and how much mound technology has evolved.

Hello Townball friends. Over the weekend Kelly DeGross, our longtime utility man, took a bad fall on a scooter and took the brunt of it to the face. Kelly will need to pay for mounting surgery costs. Please consider donating to help him and his family. gofundme.com/f/kellys-urgent…

You don’t always need to start from scratch to improve your field.
FieldSaver helps you get more out of the material you already have, improving consistency, moisture management, and playability without replacing your entire infield.

A field renovation is more than making it look good.
It’s about building a surface that performs consistently, holds up through the season and gives players a field they can count on.
That starts with the right materials and the right work.

The rubber and surrounding area can take a beating. Keeping that area it dialed in is all part of keeping the mound ready to play.

Getting the mound right takes more than just moving dirt around. The crew is using BlackStick to dial in the slope and get the mound exactly where it needs to be. #Groundskeeping #Baseball #MoundMaintenance #BaseballFields

The pros expect the mound to be in peak shape every time they takes the hill.
That's why grounds crews choose BlackStick.
