Today I lamented to my 5-year-old that I had to call an electrician to finish my fan installation because I wasn't positive about our wiring. He said "You should've taken a note about the old wiring before putting in the new fan" and I did one of those old comic strip pratfalls

It's wild how much of the pro-genAI discourse comes from people who just fundamentally don't *get* art. They think every aspect of it boils down to the final 'product.' They're incapable of understanding that what we hear, watch, and read are the process, not the outcome.
