π Students from St. Matthew High School gathered at Divine Infant Parish for two special Masses celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Yvan Mathieu.
Through humour and examples students could relate to, Bishop Mathieu encouraged them to make room for God even when life gets busy, care for one another and notice the blessings in their everyday lives. With beautiful music from the St. Matthew choir, led by school chaplain Charity Corbitt, the celebrations were a meaningful opportunity to come together in faith, prayer and gratitude. π

Thank you @ocsbRE for planning our Religion PD. My favourite parts in βGrowing in Faithβ program are the portrayal of story narratives, scripture and Gospel retellings, profiles of saints, and real-world stories that connect to studentsβ faith and everyday life

ππ Today, we give thanks for the educators who help students learn, grow, and discover their God-given gifts.
Across the OCSB, our teachers inspire curiosity, nurture potential, and create welcoming classrooms where every student is encouraged to thrive.
As we share this prayer, we ask God to bless them with wisdom, compassion, and joy as they continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of those they serve. π

π Today, we join in prayer for clergy who faithfully serve our schools, parishes, and communities.
May God continue to strengthen and guide them as they share His love, nurture faith, and inspire others to see His presence in the everyday. As the Book of Job reminds us, let us all "stop and consider the wondrous works of God." β¨

π Faith, courage and community came together at St. Peter High School as students and staff gathered on the football field for a school-wide outdoor Mass.
Through prayer, reflection and music, students were encouraged to approach the year ahead with courage and faith, knowing that they donβt face new beginnings alone.
From the student musicians to the tech team who helped bring the celebration together, it was a beautiful example of the St. Peter community living out this yearβs Spiritual Theme, We Are Called to Nourish New Beginnings. βοΈ

Today, we celebrate Clergy Appreciation Day and the dedicated clergy who support our students, staff and families across the #OCSB.
One of those people is Fr. Geoff Kerslake, who values the many opportunities he has to connect with students through school liturgies, classroom visits and even recess walks around the school grounds.
You might even spot him wearing a safety vest at recess, although he says heβs not quite ready to accept the walkie-talkie just yet!
For Fr. Geoff, one of the most meaningful parts of his role is seeing the connection between parish, school and home come to life. He loves how open, curious and friendly students are and says itβs especially meaningful when one tells him, βSee you on Sunday, Father Geoff!β
Today, we celebrate Fr. Geoff and all the clergy in our OCSB communities. Thank you for the care, presence and support you provide to our students, staff and families! ππ
