The reason Alistar, Rell, and Leona are considered counters to Nautilus is that they can easily fight back when Nautilus hooks them. They are also tankier than Nautilus, so he often ends up being the one who dies instead.
To deal with this, Nautilus needs teammates who can deal enough damage to make the enemy feel threatened when he lands a hook.
I think Kai'Sa and Cassiopeia are two of the best champions for this.
In Game 1, I think BLG's Cassiopeia bot paired with Nautilus completely neutralized Rell's advantage as a counterpick.
Normally, when Nautilus hooks Rell, she can use Q and then W to disengage. But the moment Cassiopeia uses W on Rell after she gets hooked, Rell can't do anything.
BLG played really well throughout the series, but I also think they gained a huge advantage just from the draft.
IG vs TES – Game 1 Draft Analysis
When TES first-picked Vi and IG responded with Qiyana and Nautilus, TES decided to pick Cassiopeia and Ezreal.
Normally, I think the standard response would be to pick Alistar, splitting Nautilus and Alistar between the two teams.
However, if TES had already prepared Leona, Rell, and Alistar as three support options against Nautilus, I think picking Kai'Sa earlier and building a full dive composition would have been a better choice.
Whenever I play Rell with Ezreal, I feel like their synergy is really bad.
When Rell engages, Ezreal often can't immediately follow up or deal enough damage to the target.
That's why I personally think Rell and Ezreal don't work very well together.
[Image 2] is Rell's winrate with adc champs.
Lulu support, her main goal is usually to amplify the carry potential of one ADC, especially champions like Yunara, Zeri, or Tristana.
For that playstyle, I think the best two-item core is Ardent Censer + Knight’s Vow.
The main exception is when the enemy team has a lot of CC and my ADC doesn’t have Cleanse. In that case, I’ll sometimes rush Mikael’s first.
Otherwise, I think Ardent first into Knight’s Vow second is the best build if your goal is to fully enable one ADC to carry.
I was watching Game 2 of LOS vs. LYON last night, and halfway through, I thought the game was already decided, so I went to sleep.
I woke up this morning feeling like I’d entered a different parallel universe.
I was really hoping to see Brazil’s run continue longer.
I’ll have to go back and watch the key moments on stream later today.
When I first went to Brazil in 2014, there were only a few Koreans in the Brazilian league — me, Lactea, Suno, and Winged.
Now, seeing so many Korean players and coaches going to Brazil, working hard, and becoming part of the scene makes me really happy.
I was a little sad to see LOS beat my former team, Team Liquid, but I’ll always support the Brazilian teams. Whenever a Brazilian team wins internationally, it somehow feels like a team from my hometown won.
I’m looking forward to seeing what LOS can do against LYON in their next match. I’ll be cheering for them. 🇧🇷
The response to my last macro analysis video was really positive, and a lot of people asked me to make more.
So here’s Part 2!
This time, I took a situation that actually happened in one of my solo queue games and broke it down using my own LoL Map Kit.
I’ll show what happened, what the macro mistake was, and how that one decision affected the rest of the game.
Watch here: youtu.be/Ua9Hu45cV2c?si=xmEb…
When I read history books, I sometimes see stories about wars before guns existed. When the enemy commander was killed, the army lost morale, making the battle much easier to win.
There’s no real commander among the five players in League, but which role do you think has the biggest impact on the team when it falls behind?
Personally, I’d say jungle. Sometimes I see a jungler starving, looking at empty plates the enemy jungler already cleaned out, and end up eating grass in a bush…

Ashe Sera vs Lucian Milo
for the draft for worlds
Casio + Renata should be banned on every draft.
================
When nautilus is up => if enemy fp enchanter botduo like lucian milo , Yunara lulu , you can pick nautilus to counter them.
===================
But If u first pick nautilus -> they go Alistar/Rell/Leona , most of time will be alistar
==================
When nautilus is out of the draft [ ban or picked last game]
=> All enchater botduo coming out , because every other tanks support cant really catch enchanter botduo
for example ,for Rell/Leona, Its really hard for them to catch yunara lulu / lucian milo / etc.
so its gotta be
=> Enchanter botduo vs Enchater botduo.

T1 vs MKOI – Game 2 MVP: Keria's Karma
Keria completely took over the game, starting with a strong laning phase and an impactful mid roam that gave T1 a huge advantage early on.
I think the game was essentially over when Keria rotated top to cover Gwen, and they ended up killing Xin Zhao, Seraphine, and Ezreal together.
Overall, Keria massively outperformed the opposing support throughout the game.
Series MVP: Doran
Looking at the entire series, I think Doran was T1's best-performing player overall.
There are 300 players in Korean Challenger.
Only ~40 of them are support mains, and only around 10 have played 1,000+ games this season.
There are certain days when many of these support mains aren't queueing — and interestingly, those are often the days when I don't queue either.
When I watch Challenger games on those days, I notice a lot more players being forced into support.
And I see the same problem repeatedly.
They either try to match their ADC's pick with the "correct" support, but don't have enough experience on the champion — and the bot lane collapses early.
Or they stick to a champion they're comfortable with, but the pick doesn't fit the ADC or the overall draft, making the composition and later macro much harder to execute.
This made me realize something:
You don't need to be a support main to learn support.
The system will eventually put you there.
You don't need to master 20 support champions. But understanding a few reliable picks, basic bot lane matchups, ADC-support synergy, and what your role is within different team comps can make a huge difference when you're forced to play the role.
Even if you don't want to play support, learning it properly can turn games that feel like an automatic loss into games you actually have a good chance of winning.
Learning support isn't only for support mains nowadays.
