📣Announcement on Openverse Mainnet Hard Fork Upgrade Dear Openverse Ecosystem Users and Partners, To welcome the onboarding and deployment of multiple major ecosystem projects, and marking a milestone of 2.5 years of stable mainnet operation with a block height successfully surpassing 200 million, Openverse Team has decided to implement a hard fork upgrade for the Openverse mainnet. This upgrade represents a critical milestone in Openverse’s journey toward maturity. It will also be the team's final network-halt upgrade, as all subsequent technical iterations will be seamlessly integrated via silent upgrades without any service interruptions. The upgrade is scheduled to initiate at 12:00 UTC on October 18, 2026, and is expected to be completed within 24 to 72 hours. During this upgrade period, downstream ecosystem services—including RPC, wallets, Token operations, and Minting services—will be fully suspended.
