I have launched this campaign for Ghanaians to #TakeYourOwnBowl when buying food. These plastics are slowly killing us! Kenkey sellers are abandoning maize husks and cooking the dough in plastics!!
Please tag foodies on the TL and let's all take part! Post your photos and videos of buying food in eco-friendly containers or the katemfe leaves and add the hashtag #SaynoToBankuRubber & #TakeYourOwnBowl .
We need to wake up from this slumber !

Shower together.
Kiss longer.
Lock the bedroom door.
You're married.
Enjoy each other.
Hold hands in public.
Flirt like you're still dating.
The chase shouldn't end at "I do."
Put the phones away.
Look at each other.
Slow dance in the kitchen.
Laugh at the same dumb jokes.
Joy is built in small moments.
Text "I miss you" mid-day.
Come home excited about choosing each other every.
Make them feel wanted, not just needed.
Fight the problem.
Not each other.
You're on the same team. Always.
Plan date nights.
Keep the spark alive.
Love is a verb.
Love daily.

If kids are starting out mean in the first grade, look at their parents immediately. The absence of parenting and discipline is what’s causing this.

🚨ICYMI🇬🇭🇺🇸: @NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani says President Donald Trump has agreed to immediately grant a U.S. visa to the mother of slain Ghanaian teenager Javits Frimpong, allowing her to travel from Ghana to New York to say goodbye to her son.
Mamdani says he personally spoke with Trump by phone over the request.
Javits’ mother, Doris Adu Gyamfi, has remained in Kumasi following the 15-year-old’s fatal shooting in the Bronx on Oct. 29. Ghana’s government had earlier pledged consular and legal support to the family as authorities pursue the case.

🚨ICYMI🇺🇸🇬🇭🗣️: @NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani has responded to the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Ghanaian student Javits Frimpong in the Bronx, saying his heart breaks for the family and that the city is working with the NYPD to hold those responsible accountable.
He noted Frimpong had only been in New York for a year and described the loss as one that devastates a family, a neighborhood, and a diaspora.
The mayor also pointed to school resources for addressing bullying and said mobile trauma services have been deployed to the community.

Cars can really embarrass you. You’ll call mechanic, he comes and sits in the car to also hear the noise you were hearing all week only for the car to act innocent and quiet as the cemetery . Sigh

🚨ICYMI🇬🇭🇺🇸✊🏿: Leading Ghanaian diaspora advocacy group @ghpac in the USA is demanding justice, a transparent @NYPDnews investigation into Javits’ case and accountability from NY education authorities over previous bullying complaints.
The group has urged @NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani and Congressman @RitchieTorres to engage Ghanaian and African immigrant communities, calling for broader scrutiny of the issues surrounding the case.
GHPAC representatives have also reportedly contacted Torres’ team to help secure a US visa for Javits’ mother, Doris Adu Gyamfi, who remains in Kumasi.
Torres’ office has yet to publicly confirm its involvement.
