I've neglected the Cosmic Sans site for a while but I've been slowly chipping away at a redesign and it's going to be epic!
Designers don’t need Halloween. We experience psychological horror every time someone says “I made a quick mockup in PowerPoint.”
10 days until I take the stage at Adobe MAX and I'm once again reworking my session from the ground up.
I'm also redesigning the Cosmic Sans website.
And creating new promo graphics.
And helping with assets for the keynote.
No wonder I'm stressed the hell out 😅
"Why the heck does my prompt keep getting rejected?! I'm just trying to generate an image of me in a podcast studio!"
Oh...I wrote "no pants" instead of "no plants" 🙊
Am I considering the new MacBook Pro just because the light up logo is back?
Of course not.
Okay maybe just a bit...
Looked through 642 fonts just to land on Helvetica.
Please respect my privacy during this difficult time.
I've been designing for over 20 years, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's to always respect the grid.
Unless it looks better without it.
Which it usually does.
Design is all about breaking the rules 😈

You’re not a true designer until you’ve locked a layer so you won’t accidentally move it, then spent five minutes wondering why you can’t select the layer.

I asked ChatGPT to brainstorm outfits for Adobe MAX. I may have to run with some of these!

You’re not a true designer until you’ve bought a beautifully designed jar of salsa knowing full well it tastes like trash.
Me using the pen tool:
Place point.
Drag handle.
Undo.
Place the same point slightly to the left.
Nailed it.
