It’s funny….
Every profession I’ve talked to over the last year including CPAs, lawyers, software engineers, forecasters, accountants, professors, etc, all said that AI will NEVER be able to replace their jobs.
I don’t remember the last time I’ve used anyone of those above for help recently….plus, you learn more doing it with AI.
The biggest edge will be content…. Live, in-person, content. Creative abilities will shine more, products with personality….. having a “skill set” is no longer the edge.

Saddiq Bey's 16.5 PRA trades like a coin flip. Courtside's -118/-111 devigs to 50.7% on the over and Novig's -127/-113 to 51.3%, and the most over friendly book, -143/-108, still stops at 53.1%. To beat PrizePicks long term you have to hit 54.2% a leg in a 6 pick Flex and 55% in a 3 pick Power, so neither side gets there.
Someone asked why I bet the Flyers/Capitals over 6.5 and the under 6.5 on the same day.
Novig had the over at +135 at 2:34, then Courtside had the under at -132 by 3:03. Those two prices add up to 99.5%, which means the market was crossed....

Two sides of a fair market add up to more than 100%. The over at +135 is a 42.6% price and the under at -132 is 56.9%, which covers only 99.5%. Bet both straight, $100 on the over and $134 on the under, and you collect $235 whichever way it lands. Kalshi paid just +124 on the over, and whales later put $136.9K on the under.

On PrizePicks it sits in a 3 pick Power that pays 6X, which needs 55% a leg. That leaves close to 10 points of cushion. Hard Rock dealing -115 on both sides is the only book out of line.

Whales put $136.9K on this under at prices from -133 to -137, and $100,386 of that came on Kalshi at -133. Courtside deals -132, a better number than every one of those fills. Courtside and DraftKings both devig the under to 55.1%, and the +499 is just the three leg prices multiplied together with no added juice.

The Nuke promo turns this 2 pick into +500. The books make Yelich scoring a run about a 37% shot, with DraftKings at 38.7% and Hard Rock at 38.2% after the vig. At +500 the slip only needs 16.7%, so with Yelich near 37% the VanVleet under only has to hit 45.2% of the time. That's a low bar for a single prop.

Novig's market here is about as tight as it gets, +135 on the over against -138 on the under, a hold of only 0.5%. Kalshi, with $79k of liquidity, has the same over at +124, and Pinnacle sits at +117. That's 11 to 18 cents of extra price on the exact same 6.5.
