AYANNA PRESSLEY: Question 3 would stack the deck against working-class candidates and hand even more power to those who already have too much.
Thank you Congresswoman @AyannaPressley for speaking out and encouraging Massachusetts to vote no on Question 3.

ALT Massachusetts elections are not for sale. Vote no on Question 3 | U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley Massachusetts is the birthplace of American democracy. We should lead the way in making elections accessible, government representative and democracy responsive to the people it serves. Instead, Question 3 would take the Commonwealth backward. This billionaire-backed ballot measure, championed by private equity executives and wealthy special interests, would fundamentally change how we elect our leaders. Its proponents promise more competitive elections. But Question 3 would make it harder for working-class people to run and win, while giving those with the deepest pockets an even greater advantage.

In 2022, MA voters did something transformative by passing Fair Share. Question 5 is an attempt by corporate lobby groups to undermine it. Vote no on 5.

Q3’s private equity backers want you to think the question is about making our elections more competitive. In reality, it will create more hurdles for grassroots and working-class candidates, harming our ability to elect more diverse and representative leaders.
Vote NO on 3.
“I want the people doing the work in our neighborhoods to have a real voice in that decision. And I want Massachusetts to keep moving toward elections where we can rank our choices and vote for the people we actually believe in.”
Happy Halloween, MA!
Remember to vote NO on 3, 5, and 8!

Thank you @PramilaJayapal for this warning from Washington State.
Massachusetts must REJECT Question 3 and the private equity billionaires funding it.
Private equity execs are trying to rig MA elections in their favor as a part of a pro-Wall Street national political project.
Don't let them.
Vote NO on 3.

Who is bankrolling Question 5?
A dark money group of CEOs still mad about Fair Share, and Question 5 is their attempt to undermine Fair Share and prevent the state from protecting our residents from Trump’s Big Ugly health care cuts.
Our Outreach & Ops Director Melanie O'Malley is a big fan of all things Halloween & spooky, and so is her kindergartener. But do you know what is too much for both of them? Stories where adults fail to stand up and protect children.
Vote YES on 9 to protect our gun safety laws.

Under top-two primaries, parties can get locked out of a general election because of having too many candidates.
You’ll never believe how absurd the solution from Question 3’s backers is.
Vote no on 3.
