Please write to your MP to tell them Brexit has failed and we need to rejoin the EU ASAP. Half-measures are not an option - as Andy Burnham has suggested, we need to go all the way. Find out how to write to your MP here: therejoineuparty.com/tell-yo… #ExitBrexit #RejoinEU

Brexit destroyed my plans @UKLabour

who aren’t rich or
don’t have dual citizenship suffer
MPs are too wealthy
Brexit has little effect
on their lives
🇬🇧🇪🇺 Brexit is over.
The EU will offer the UK a new interim agreement at the November summit.
The UK will accept, allowing it to integrate into certain areas of the EU.
Reintegration will happen (formally or in practice) over the comming years
Even without formally rejoining, the plan is for the UK to return in practice through steps that do not require a referendum.
Europe must be united.

Former minister Chris Ward, who helped draw up Labour’s “red lines” on the EU, says reopening Brexit debates is a "really good thing”.

most people now realise #Brexithasfailed. So the question now is what we do about it. Full marks to @andyburnham for not running away from the issue
⏰ For six years since Britain left the Single Market, I’ve been waiting for a Prime Minister prepared to explain why we may have to go back in.
Because of food security, energy security, investment, supply chains and national resilience.
You cannot build a serious food-security strategy while putting permanent barriers between Britain and its largest neighbouring food market.
You cannot talk about sovereignty while becoming more dependent on fragile global supply chains for food, fuel and fertiliser.
And you cannot repair Brexit properly while refusing even to discuss the obligations that come with deeper European integration.
At last we have a Prime Minister @andyburnham prepared to start giving the country some of the hard truths 👏
This conversation is long overdue.

It's like he has a problem controlling what comes out of his mouth.
The problem with trying to be all things to all people is that people notice the contradictions.
Burnham says UK's Brexit deal isn't 'good enough' but won't push to rejoin EU

Brexit is finally toast!
Let's wait for the EU to outline its accession terms in November and if acceptable, have a GE based on Brexit, then trigger Article 49!

Brexit xenophobes are getting desperate. They can see the tide is turning.
Since Brexit, the NHS has received far more than an extra £350 million a week.
Now seems a good time to remind everyone, given a picture of the famous Brexit bus is doing the rounds again.
Disinformation is discussed a lot, but claims that pledge wasn’t fulfilled are among the biggest lies you see online.

Burnham blames Britain’s migrant crisis on Brexit, arguing that leaving the EU had left the UK with “weaker control”. apple.news/AxueFnctAT62GlHEU….

Not necessarily. A mandate in a manifesto at a general election would do it.

Dear Mr @andyburnham,
We need a snap election now.
Put it in the manifesto.
Start rejoining in January.
Complete by December 2027.
Done.

No, it's not a "hammer blow" because we can't be a full member of the single market, with the massive economic boost that would bring, without free movement. What has been a hammer blow is the red tape and lack of labour flexibility that Brexit foisted on UK companies. #RejoinNow

All this stuff about a youth-mobility scheme, a food deal and reintegration into the carbon market is Starmer's agenda. @andyburnham needs to go to Brussels and say things have moved on and he wants to go further. If that means dumping the half-measures, so be it. #RejoinNow
