Part of the reason UConn became UConn is that there’s literally nothing to do there. It’s surrounded by miles of farms and cow pastures. Play ball and (sometimes) go to class.
When everyone in *Connecticut* thinks a place is boring, it’s probably pretty boring.

For Nik Khamenia, it wasn’t about bells or whistles when he left Duke, but finding a town revolving solely around hoops.
