My job is to mobilise the next generation to create action for our planet. And it’s something that I’ve always passionately advocated for through our @AustraliaZoo and @wildwarriors, so to be part of the @EarthshotPrize’s global moment of urgent optimism, it fills me with hope for the future.

The bandy-bandy is a really unique find! What a great discovery to make on World #ReptileAwarenessDay 🐍
This goes for anxiety, grief, loss, or even a lack of confidence. I find this technique and this idea really interesting and helpful. It’s difficult to put into words, but there is a time and place to embrace the uncertainty and “hug the cactus” as I’ve sometimes heard it described. Break the chain of negativity, and be open to light and positivity in your life. Remember to make room for the good. This is a message that I don’t often get to discuss but I think it’s an important conversation, I have found this helpful, and I hope maybe it can help someone else. There is no one perfect way to get through any challenge as long as you are kind to yourself, and those around you. Keep moving forward 💛
A second chance for two beautiful sea turtles. After months of rehabilitation, they have finally been released back to their home in the wild! So proud of our team at our wildlife hospital.
What a special moment. Today we released two beautiful sea turtles back to the wild after undergoing months of rehabilitation. Our sea turtle recovery centre provides life-saving care and is an integral part of our wildlife hospital. These two lucky turtles now have a second chance at life.
Occa the cockatoo… this guy has been part of our @AustraliaZoo family for a long time, we love him!
Tomorrow 2:30pm at Australia Zoo we’ve got a special event at our triple croc ponds. Our passion is educating our guests about all of our gorgeous wildlife - and particularly crocodiles. So this is gonna be a really fun afternoon! I’ll see you here! @AustraliaZoo
