Just weeks ago, the pastor of Covenant Presbyterian (and father of one of the children killed yesterday) preached on Jesus as Death’s Conqueror, even as He wept before the tomb of Lazarus. Pray for this family and for this church. God, be near.

Overpopulation is a myth based on the long-debunked Malthusian Catastrophe. Since 1800, the population has grown from 1 billion people to almost 8 billion. During the same period, the # of people in extreme poverty has gone from almost 1 billion to fewer than 800 million.

Was recently asked by an atheist friend to share what initially got me interested in studying Christianity as an atheist. Here's my response:

Its amazing that within the a year we have seen all the idols brought to light. The idols of political parties, of race/ethnicity, of comfort, of sexuality, and so many more. They were always there, it just look some pressure to bring them to the surface. Turn to Jesus!

I’m sorry Mr Lemon but just who “admitted” that Jesus Christ was not perfect here on earth? Not anyone who believes the Bible. Not anyone who trusts in Jesus as their savior. I’m not sure the point you’re making but your premise is dead wrong. That was the point in Jesus coming!
“Jesus Christ, if that’s who you believe, if that’s who you believe in, admittedly was not perfect when he was here on this earth.” Prominent leftists don’t understand even the most basic aspects of the most basic things we believe.

It’s amazing that a sports commentator is willing to say about BLM what many evangelical pastors are too scared to.

Bet Jesus feels pretty silly for coming all this way and dying for me then.

Today is #DDay. A day to honor our heroes. More than 160,000 brave Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France, June 6, 1944.

Today is the 75th anniversary of the Nazi surrender in Europe. We honor the heroes whose sacrifices led to victory in 1945. Long live freedom. #VEDay75

“I don’t believe in the prosperity Gospel. I believe if you read the word of God and you understand it, there’s trials along the way but they equip your heart to be who you are.” Watch @NickFoles preach the Gospel at his press conference today.
