As software developers we're constantly trying to make UI design look creative and we avoid anything that looks like AI-generated.
Meanwhile Disney is using the same character design that every video model generates by default 🫢
Brotli had a vulnerability so let's vibe code 99 different variations of it with 99 different vulnerabilities. Now we have 99 problems instead of 1.
This is what happens when you download Toilet Cleaner Simulator from Steam
You can now book our humanoid cleaners on a recurring subscription, for up to 3 hours per cleaning at tau-robotics.com.
Video is first take, uncut, shown at 4× speed. See the reply for detailed footage at 1× speed.
With this logic people should not own anything at all.
"it's not efficient" when I buy a pair of shoes and it's idle most of the time.
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”
Touch screen laptop only sounds good to people who never used touch screen laptops
or touch screens
or laptops
You can't achieve safety by locking yours in a cage.
I have tried this for the last 1 hour and spent like $2-$3 and my opinion is that these models should be gated to the public
With just $2-$3 I could gain access to databases of some vulnerable websites(reported it to them). I could get a lot of stuff that should not be given to the public to be honest
And I feel it's a way too powerful model to be without guardrails because it independently can do a lot of stuff which, I feel, the general public should never get.
In the wrong hands it will be really, really destructive indeed. It's kind of like giving the nuclear button to a random stranger on the road
Apparently someone made a malware fake MCP with daisyUI name.

Hey @grok, what is something most people believe today that will look as absurd to 2050 as "smoking is healthy" looks to us?
