Today is my last day as White House Chief of Staff.
Serving President Trump in the White House has been the honor of a lifetime. I’m so proud to have been a part of what we’ve accomplished together from securing our border and cutting taxes to strengthening our economy and putting America First.
More than anything, I’m grateful for the extraordinary people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside. While my role may be changing, my commitment to the President and the mission never will.

Thanksgiving sides and staples for under $20.
Under @POTUS, we’re seeing real progress on grocery costs — and retailers are responding.
Nearly 100 holiday items are now priced lower at more than 21,000 @DollarGeneral stores nationwide. More work ahead, but America First policies are putting more food on the table and more money in your wallet.
We saw what happened under Biden: America became a net food importer for the first time in 2023, the farm economy lost $90 billion, input costs surged 40%, and our agricultural trade surplus became a $50 billion deficit.
Under @POTUS, we’re turning the corner. 20 new trade deals, lower input costs, and record exports on the horizon for American farmers and ranchers.

Egg prices are down from their highs. Beef prices have fallen four months in a row. That’s real progress for families at the grocery store. 📷

Under the Biden-Harris Administration, grocery prices soared more than 23%, putting enormous pressure on hardworking American families.
From DAY ONE, President Trump has made lowering grocery costs a priority. 🇺🇸
From combating bird flu to protect our poultry supply and stabilize egg prices to cutting burdensome regulations that drive up production costs for farmers and ranchers, this Administration is taking action.
And we’re seeing progress.
Since January 2025, prices for several key grocery items, including certain proteins, dairy products, and fruits, have declined. 🥚🐓🧀🧈🍇🍓🫐
And CPI data shows beef prices have come down for three consecutive months.
But our work is far from over.
American families deserve affordable groceries, and American farmers and ranchers deserve the freedom to produce.

A Pennsylvania welfare supervisor is accused of stealing more than $20,500 in food assistance benefits — and trading EBT cards for CRACK COCAINE.
Prosecutors say Sheila McDonald’s alleged scheme involved 48 EBT cards and more than 270 unauthorized transactions. She now faces multiple felony charges.
Benefits meant to feed families should NEVER bankroll drugs.

Today, I joined @RogerMarshallMD at El Dorado Livestock Barn to hear directly from Kansas farmers and ranchers — and discuss the work we’re delivering for them.
Under @POTUS, we’re taking ACTION:
✅ Backing 10 Kansas meat processors through our latest $57 MILLION meat processing expansion announcement — helping independent businesses grow and giving ranchers more options to sell their livestock.
✅ Supporting a fertilizer project in Lewis, Kansas, through FIELDS to expand American fertilizer production and reduce reliance on foreign suppliers.
✅ Delivering $842 MILLION in farm safety net payments to Kansas producers, which began going out last month using increased reference prices from the Working Families Tax Cuts Act.
✅ Developing President Trump’s $8 BILLION Harvest Fuel Relief program, with eligibility and payment details coming in mid-November.
✅ Announcing $3 MILLION to expand Kansas’ voluntary hunting and fishing access programs—helping open 40,000 additional acres for hunting, 250 acres for fishing, and two river access sites.
We’re fighting to keep your operations strong, your markets competitive, and your way of life alive for the next generation.
More work to be done, but this is progress!
Great to be in El Dorado, Kansas, with my good friend @RogerMarshallMD and so many incredible farmers and ranchers!
From strengthening the farm safety net in the Working Families Tax Cuts Act to negotiating 20 new trade deals and frameworks, we’ve been fighting to put farmers and ranchers first since Day One.
And the results speak for themselves. We’ve cut the projected $50B agricultural trade deficit we inherited in half and are setting export records in numerous markets across the globe like Mexico, South Korea, the European Union, and Vietnam.
And compared to this time in 2024, ethanol exports are up 32%, soybean meal exports are up 11%, and corn exports are up 37%.
With some commodities poised for their strongest years on record as we expand market access around the world, we are seeing the farm economy start to rebound here at home.
Since the start of the Trump Administration:
Soybean prices UP 18%
Soybean oil prices UP 44%
Wheat prices UP 17%
Cotton is UP 15%
Sugar is UP 19%
Rice is UP 17.8%
We still have more work to do, but these are encouraging signs.
While in El Dorado, we also highlighted actions the Trump Administration is taking to support ranchers and independent small- and mid-sized beef processors. Just last week, @USDA announced 146 awards totaling $57M in investments for meat processing expansion, including 10 awards right here in Kansas! 🥩
@POTUS is making sure our farmers and ranchers have the support they need not just to survive, but to thrive. The men and women who FEED, FUEL, and CLOTHE this nation deserve nothing less! 🇺🇸💪
