One phone call changed everything.
As Dave Phillips was launching what would become @ServeAChild, a missionary in Honduras called with an urgent need: seven children with cancer needed a specific drug to survive.
Dave wrote down the drug's name, prayed, and hung up.
Seconds later, the phone rang again.
A donor had 48,000 vials of a children's cancer drug to give away—and it was the exact same medication.
That miraculous provision not only saved lives across 20 countries, it confirmed the path God was calling Dave to follow.

The gospel is not only heard but also seen through the love and care of the local church. Through faithful church partners, families like Mrs. Tadesse and Mimi’s are being reminded that they are not forgotten and that true hope is found in Christ alone.

Ten years ago, CHF expanded to Dallas with a calling to serve and deep trust in what God could do through faith, hard work, and community.
This week, we celebrate everyone who shaped that journey. Grateful for all God has done—and confident the best is still ahead.
How do we deliver hope around the world? 🌎
Food Paks are tailored to local needs—48 meals of shelf-stable food, delivered through churches.
But it doesn’t stop there—we equip the church through training, resources, and ongoing support for their communities.
A 40ft container carrying hope is on its way—37,980 lbs of food, toys & essentials.
This shipment represents over 144,000 meals, set to serve 7,200 people.

When Anna planned to donate food, her family went further—shopping our Food Pak list, serving together, and packing 3 Food Paks for families in need.
