ALT City lights sparkle across the southern United States in this photograph taken at approximately 4:44 a.m. local time from the International Space Station is it orbited into a sunrise 260 miles above Florida. In the right foreground, is a set of the orbital outpost's main solar arrays augmented by a smaller set of roll out solar arrays.

ALT Oct. 15, 2026: International Space Station Configuration. Five spaceships are attached to the space station including the SpaceX CRS-35 and Crew-13 Dragons, the Soyuz MS-29 crew spacecraft, and the Progress 95 and 96 resupply ships.

ALT View of the International Space Station's exterior showing large roll-out solar arrays extending across the frame. Station truss structures, robotic hardware, and attached modules are visible against the dark background of space. The solar arrays appear illuminated by sunlight, highlighting the power-generating systems that support station operations and research in orbit.
