1/ Launch scarcity is becoming a business constraint for satellite operators. Delays in reaching orbit can push back deployment schedules and the start of commercial services. That pressure is creating an opening for new launch providers.
“It’s really the reason why we exist.” - Canada Rocket Company CEO Hugh Kolias on the launch shortage. Customer demand has already led the company to upsize its rocket multiple times. See how launch scarcity is driving investment in new providers in our Q3 Space IQ report: spacecapital.com/space-iq?ut…

4/ Canada Rocket Company is developing R-2, a reusable medium-lift rocket designed to launch from Canada. Additional providers could give satellite operators more launch options while building sovereign capability.

Scaling orbital manufacturing means giving customers a repeatable way to process materials in space and bring them home. @WillBruey says Varda has launches lined up through 2029, with spacecraft designed to fly on different rockets. With seven missions planned for 2027, @VardaSpace is moving toward fleet operations to make that round trip a regular service for industries on Earth. space.com/space-exploration/…

Our portfolio company @XonaSpace has raised a $250M Series D at a $2.45B valuation, following the launch of six Pulsar satellites this week. GPS showed how infrastructure in orbit can enable entirely new businesses on Earth. The next generation of autonomous vehicles and robots needs more precise positioning, including when GPS is disrupted. Xona’s Pulsar network is designed to work alongside GPS, bringing centimeter-level accuracy and built-in protections against spoofing and interference. Congrats to @FoundTheSpace and the Xona team. Launch scarcity is funding new providers and filling order books. Companies focused solely on launch attracted a record $7.8B through Q3 2026. Synspective’s deal with @RocketLab shows the customer priority: securing access to orbit through 2031.
We've just signed Electron's largest commercial launch contract ever: 20x new launches with Earth-observation constellation operator @synspective 🚀🦉 That brings the total number of Synspective launches on Electron to 47 - the most of any Rocket Lab launch customer. We're proud to continue building out their low Earth orbit constellation through to 2031.
