The International Space Station looks like a well-loved garage for a reason. After 26 years of continuous operation, every rack, panel, and surface is spoken for. Items used regularly are kept outside the walls, but anything not considered a highly used item is stored behind wall panels. It's a little chaotic, but we make it work. Axiom Station builds on lessons learned by prioritizing organization in its architecture.  It incorporates features like adaptable stowage, upgraded inventory management, and smarter tools.

Haven-1’s 15 composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) hold thruster propellant, breathing oxygen, and cabin pressure gas. The orange patches on the propellant tanks are Kapton heaters for in-orbit mass gauging and deorbit. Next up: integration on Haven-1.

‘Taking Flight’ (nearly).  Our beautiful Artemis III Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage left the surface of the earth (briefly) today as it ‘flew over the hump’ via a giant crane in the Vehicle Assembly Building to be mated between our 2 already assembled Solid Rocket Boosters on the Mobile Launcher.  Spectacular job by our SLS, Exploration Ground Systems, and  @NASAKennedy team! Go @NASAArtemis III!
