House Judiciary Democrats allege that President Trump and Paolo Zampolli, a modeling agent and longtime Trump friend who until recently served as a member of his administration, may have helped convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein traffic and abuse young women, and that the DOJ is now hiding the evidence. The report has not been endorsed by the committee’s Republican majority.
Trump hosted Elite Model Management competitions for teenage models in the 1990s, and FBI records describe several young models connected to Zampolli who were later sexually assaulted by Epstein, according to the report.
Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md. said some women indicated that Epstein or convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell tried to traffic them to Trump. He also accused the DOJ of shutting down investigations and deliberately withholding evidence.
The report also accuses Attorney General Todd Blanche of potentially tampering with a witness to protect Trump, and Democrats are calling for an independent special counsel to investigate.
The report singles out Blanche’s role in Maxwell’s July 2025 prison interview, when he was deputy attorney general. According to the report, Blanche stopped Maxwell from discussing a woman identified as “Jane” at least three times, at one point saying, “Let’s not talk about individuals.” Jane told the FBI that Epstein introduced her to Trump when she was 14. Because Maxwell was scheduled to testify before the House Oversight Committee less than two weeks later, the report says Blanche’s actions potentially constituted witness tampering and obstruction.
Jane is one of five women who accuse Trump of sexual misconduct in Epstein’s presence. Beatrice Keul told committee staff that Trump raped her at a November 1993 pageant he hosted at New York’s Plaza Hotel, after Epstein approached her there. Stacey Williams said Trump groped her in his Trump Tower office as Epstein stood beside them. Jill Harth said Trump forcibly kissed and fondled her at Mar-a-Lago, where she says Epstein was the only other man present. A woman identified as Katie Johnson told the FBI that Trump and Epstein repeatedly raped her in New York in 1994, when she was 13. Three other women described encounters in which Epstein or Maxwell appeared to offer them to Trump or suggested he was involved in Epstein’s abuse.

During a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, President Trump called rapper Nicki Minaj to the stage after praising her looks.
"By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before Nicki Minaj. That's hard to miss. Stand up, Nicki. That's hard to miss... I hope Nicki wasn't insulted, but we love Nicki."
After taking the stage, Minaj praised Trump's actions since the beginning of his second term, and said she would "continue to support you forever and ever. If you run again, I will support you again."

President Trump has reportedly discussed moving the White House corps out of the White House and into another building, according to CBS News.
Reports have also suggested that Trump could turn the current briefing room back into a swimming pool built during Nixon's presidency.
Trump posted to his Truth Social account, "Although I may move the Fake News to a less obnoxious location, the old swimming pool will never be brought back. I NEVER even thought to do such a stupid thing!"
On September 27, Trump posted a before-and-after photo to his Truth Social account that appears to be AI-generated, showing the current press room beside a rendering that reimagines the space as a swimming pool.

Minnesota officials say the Trump administration stopped sharing evidence concerning the shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti with state investigators, according to recent court filings.
In March, Minnesota officials sued the Trump administration to gain access to evidence to investigate the killings of Good and Pretti, according to the Associated Press, and began receiving evidence, including body-camera footage and hard drives, they announced in July.
Minnesota is still asking for the cell phones of agents involved in the shootings and key interviews, AP reported, and investigators state in recent court filings that the sharing of evidence stopped shortly after the announcement made in July.
Attorneys for the DOJ filed a reply, saying they are allowed to deny requests to share information with state officials, according to AP.
President Trump’s federal government has stated previously that state and local prosecutors lack jurisdiction to investigate, since the deaths were committed by on-duty federal officers.
ICE agents killed American citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis last January during protests criticizing the Trump administration's Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota.

Fermentation-derived egg proteins are already present in some retail food products, but social media claims that conventional grocery-store eggs have been secretly replaced are false.
Although produced without chickens, these proteins are still egg proteins and carry the same allergy risks as conventional eggs.
The EVERY Company has not disclosed which Walmart and Target products contain its animal-free egg proteins, and it remains unclear how clearly those ingredients will be identified on packaging.
The FDA issued a "no questions" letter on EVERY's safety determination, which is not the same as formal product approval.
EA shut down BioWare after more than 30 years and cancelled the next Mass Effect, cutting about 400 jobs.
A day later, a new Reddit account posted a two-minute trailer for the cancelled game, and Bloomberg confirmed it’s genuine.
A petition asking EA to fund the project or sell the rights to another studio has gathered 50,000 signatures, most of them in a single day, and a writer on Amazon’s Mass Effect series shared it.
EA hasn’t commented on the trailer or the petition.
So should EA sell Mass Effect to a studio that wants it, and does a petition ever actually change a decision like this?

On Kara Swisher's "High Stakes" podcast, Hillary Clinton criticized actor Matthew McConaughey's recent video posted to his socials, asking people to consider voting for a third-party candidate over a Democrat or Republican.
Clinton said to Swisher, “I think it’s really unfortunate that somebody who’s such a great actor with such a reach would suggest, two weeks before a midterm that is aimed at stopping Trump’s corruption, impunity and extreme damage to the country, that any independent candidate is really a better choice."
McConaughey did not endorse any specific political candidate. He encouraged voters to "look at your ballot and study up. See if they represent you, what you believe in.”
To the point of only voting Democrat or Republican, the actor said in his video, “So, they’ve been telling us for years that an independent vote is a wasted vote. Well, a great question for our times is, how’s that unwasted vote been working out for you?”

President Trump criticized LeBron James on Thursday after video showed the NBA star appearing to practice a golf swing and jump shot while “The Star-Spangled Banner” played before Philadelphia’s season opener at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
Trump called James a “TOTAL DISGRACE” and demanded he apologize to American service members who died serving the country. James responded, “It must be a slow news day at the office.”
Ahead of Philadelphia’s home opener Thursday, James put his arms behind his back and bowed his head while Boyz II Men performed the anthem. He later recorded 17 points and 10 rebounds as the 76ers rallied from a 29-point deficit to beat Cleveland 114–106.
Trump and James have traded public criticism for years. Philadelphia coach Nick Nurse said the team would remain focused on basketball despite the outside attention.
The White House announced that First Lady Melania Trump brokered a ceasefire for the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky, beginning October 29.
The Ukrainian city of Oleshky has been occupied by Russia since February 2022, Reuters reported.
“...Oleshky is a front-line war city on the brink of disaster. Oleshky’s remaining population is comprised primarily of elderly residents who urgently need medical attention, medicine, food, and clean water,” said First Lady Melania Trump in a White House press release, “...It was abundantly clear that without my intervention, the possibility to bring humanitarian aid into the city and to evacuate the elderly would be impossible.”
The ceasefire is meant to allow humanitarian aid in and help residents evacuate if they choose to, the White House said.
Oleshky had a population of around 24,000 before the war, which has declined to roughly 2,000, including about 50 children, according to the White House.

President Trump now says Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican running for Ohio governor, should continue running a contentious ad against Democrat Amy Acton, despite calls from both sides of the aisle to take it down.
Trump initially said he didn't know much about the ad, which features Acton’s long-estranged mother calling her daughter a liar and urging Ohioans not to vote for her.
But Trump changed his tune when asked about the ad again Thursday.
“All I know is Amy Acton’s mother said horrible things about Amy Acton, calling her a liar and unreliable. A lot of very bad things,” Trump said. “And I say that she’s fair game.”
He also blasted Ohio’s governor, Mike DeWine, calling him a RINO — a Republican in name only — after DeWine joined calls for the ad to be taken down, calling it “deeply troubling.”
“It’s wrong to run this ad,” DeWine said. “And even at this late time — my wife, Fran, saw the ad just run this morning on TV — I would just urge the Ramaswamy campaign to take this down. It’s just, it’s just, it’s just wrong.”

President Trump defended Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy's controversial attack ad in Ohio’s gubernatorial race.
The ad features Democratic candidate Amy Acton's estranged mother, Donna Arthur, calling her daughter a liar and urging Ohioans not to vote for her.
Previously, when asked about the ad, Trump told reporters, “I know nothing about it. But I hear the mother went very rogue on the daughter; doesn’t have a lot of respect for the daughter,” Trump said.
When recently asked again by the press about the ad, Trump reiterated he knew nothing about the ad.
He also added he was defending the ad because the "press has teamed up because [Ramaswamy] is a Republican." He also speculated that if his mother had said "horrible" things about him, the press would "have it front row center, you'd love it."
Acton says she hasn’t seen her mother since 1978, when her stepfather was charged with raping her as a child.
Acton and her brother were removed from their mother’s custody following the allegations. Her stepfather was indicted but did not stand trial.
The ad has drawn criticism from both parties, including Republican Ohio Sen. Jon Husted, who said he would not have run it.
Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley called Ramaswamy a “bad guy,” adding, “It’s a shame he continues to get away with it.”

A Glee reboot is officially happening on Disney+ and Hulu, with Ryan Murphy writing.
The original Fox series charted 207 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, more than Elvis Presley, but its ratings fell every season, and it ended in 2015 with a fraction of the audience it started with.
There’s no announced casting, plot, or premiere date yet.
