People like Syeda Hameed, a close confidant of the Gandhi family legitimise illegal infiltrators, as they seek of realise Jinnah's dream of making Assam a part of Pakistan. Today Assamese identity is on the brink of extinction because of the tacit support of people like her. But we are the sons and daughters of Lachit Barphukan, WE WILL FIGHT till the last drop of our blood to save our State and our indentity. Let me make it very clear, Bangladeshis are not welcome in Assam, it is not their land. Anyone sympathising with them may accomodate them in their own backyards. Assam is not up for grabs by illegal infiltrators, NOT NOW, NOT EVER.

Thank my friend, President Putin, for his phone call and for sharing insights on his recent meeting with President Trump in Alaska. India has consistently called for a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict and supports all efforts in this regard. I look forward to our continued exchanges in the days to come. @KremlinRussia_E

The Indus Water Treaty, 1960, was one of the biggest blunders of former PM Jawaharlal Nehru that kept national interest at the altar of personal ambitions. The nation must know that when former Pandit Nehru signed the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan, he unilaterally handed over 80 per cent of Indus basin waters to Pakistan, leaving India with just 20 per cent of the share. It was a decision that permanently compromised India’s water security and national interest. The most appalling aspect was that he did it without consulting the Indian Parliament. The treaty was signed in September 1960. However, it was placed before Parliament only two months later, in November, and, that too, for a token discussion of mere 2 hours! Read this thread to see the full scale of this national betrayal.

This is Krishna Chaudhary, the Times Of India "journalist" who thinks Muhammad Asad is a Hindu tantrik. Since TOI is shameless, at least let's show the faces of those who are spreading hateful fake news against Hindus.

You can dress up a Pakistani in a military uniform, weigh him down with medals, and call him General or Field Marshal but scratch the surface, and you’ll still find the same jihadi suicide bomber who dreams not of victory, but of dragging half the world into the grave with him. “We’ll take half the world down with us.”

Team @sssdefence closed out a hectic 2 days at the Homeland Security & International Police Expo, Delhi. We had some great meetings and took in a lot of feedback. A big shout to the team on the booth and those behind the scenes in Namma Uru Bengaluru who got things going. There were some first time viewings - T72 (7.62x51) Assault Rifle, G72 Compact SMG, G72 P (9x19) pistol and 300 BLK Raptor. Over the coming months expect to see a lot more of these as they enter service in India and foreign militaries. We are committed to Aatmanirbharta in substance and will continue to pursue an India first policy while making an impression in foreign markets. This Nov 2025, we will be at Milipol Paris, first time for an Indian weapon manufacturer. Wish us luck. We strive to make Bharat proud.

“If there was only one university in the world I could hire from, it would be the IITs.” -@BillGates With 1.3 million kids applying for one of 18,160 seats, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are the toughest undergrad engineering program to get admitted to. The admit rate is just 1.4% versus 4.7% for @MIT . This year 489 @DakshanaIndia Scholars took the IIT entrance exam and 329 were accepted as IITians, a success rate of 67%! 5% of all IIT seats are reserved for kids with physical disabilities. At @DakshanaIndia, we have had a special focus on disabled kids almost since inception. This year we prepared 33 severely disabled kids for the IIT entrance exam and 26 of them were accepted by the IITs – a 79% success rate! @DakshanaIndia's topper was Lakhan Mahali who ranked 2nd in the country among tribals with disabilities admitted to the IITs. He will be studying Computer Science at IIT Delhi! Congrats Lakhan! Lakhan has extreme locomotor disability in both hands with an irregular bone structure. He cannot lift heavy objects. He can hold a pen and write only for a few minutes. After that unbearable pain radiates from his fingers to his wrist and then on to his elbow, forcing him to drop his pen. The pain subsides after a few minutes; he can resume writing and the cycle repeats. It is a genetic condition. His younger brother has a similar locomotor disability affecting his back which makes it hard for him to walk even for short distances. Lakhan’s family lives in Rapcha village in a remote corner of the State of Jharkhand. Lakhan’s mother is illiterate, and his father never finished 10th grade. Both parents are unskilled laborers making under $1.50/day each. They live in extreme poverty in a 250 sq. ft home with no indoor plumbing or regular electric service. Any possible surgery that could have helped him was never explored and not an option. While Lakhan has great difficulty with traditional writing and lifting heavy objects, he faces no issues with using a laptop or tablet. In 2029, when he graduates from IIT Delhi, his family’s financial struggles will finally be over and we at Dakshana are stoked about our small role in his journey. In terms of business use, what are the areas in which AI is useful today? I will list some (and please add others in comments): 1. Speech to text, text to speech, image recognition, authentication based on photos/videos/speech/.. 2. Image to text (character recognition) and extracting meta data and data from images/PDFs etc 3. Spam detection, phishing detection and fraud detection 4. Security threat analysis 5. Identifying patterns in data in a variety of financial/business/legal/medical/engineering/scientific scenarios. There is a huge category of uses here. 6. Programmer assistance via code generation, particularly UI code generation, and help finding bugs. 7. Marketing content generation, design of brochures, websites, campaigns, emails and so on. If abused, this results in "AI slop" where humans know something is AI generated when they see it! One thing to keep in mind is that many of these use cases predate LLMs. We used to call this field "machine learning" and those tools are in widespread use. I am most excited about 4-5-6 categories, particularly 6. This is where AI can provide "actions" or "workflows" or more ambitiously autonomous "agents". That last part is the holy grail but vastly overhyped. In that sense autonomous AI agents are like self-driving cars: don't get too taken by the hype but engineers in the trenches are making progress. We are going to need a lot more R&D work, and that does not mean throwing a lot more money at it. When hype meets Wall Street, a lot of money gets thrown at it (be it the optical bubble or the real estate bubble and now the AI bubble) and then Wall Street gets tired and walks away. That is when the real engineers get excited (I have a optical fiber connection in my remote village!). I prefer working down in the trenches. Will surface to share my findings once in a while! 🙏

#Exclusive #Breaking Thread🧵 1/ Extensive study on narrative-building has repeatedly refrained me from reading stories coming from legacy media. But this one from @AvaniDias has particularly caught my attention, as the concept of reverse victimization is prominently played out.

To get a reality check on life in West Bengal where the state is rapidly withering away as predicted by Friedrich Engels, watch ‘The Bengal Diary’. It tells the story of Bengal without cutting corners or sugar-coating the bitter truth. It’s story that affects all. #TheBengalDiary
