Went to get some food last night in the wider Pasadena area, safe in the knowledge we were very far away from the Palisades fire. Could never have imagined we would witness the new Eaton fire raging right in front of our eyes. Truly devastating to see LA and California in flames. The journey home though, was a roller coaster of emotions. While my husband drove calmly and found a route out of the heat, I was not so calm. In fact, I was absolutely full blown terrified. For a split second, I wasn’t sure we would make it out. Heartbroken for everyone affected – at Altadena, CA

My heart goes out to everyone affected from the attacks on the churches and hotels. So many were people attending church today on #EasterSunday, a peaceful and holy day. I am absolutely sickened by this. So senseless. So cowardly. 😥
Tragic💔 19-year-old reported sexual harassment by her headteacher to the police. 11 days later when she went to school to sit her exams, she was burned to death.
Attitudes to reporting sexual harassment need to change.
