Our next episode of the week: "Don't Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth," Season 1 Episode 8!
When Davy brings home a horse to horse-sit, the boys have to hide the massive steed from their strict landlord, Mr. Babbitt, who strictly forbids pets.
The chaos moves to the countryside when they return the horse to its owners and Davy gets recruited to ride in a high-stakes race against a wealthy neighbor's steed.
This week's episode of the week: "Monkees in a Ghost Town," Season 1 Episode 7!
When the Monkeemobile runs out of gas in an abandoned Western town, the boys think they're just stranded, until they're ambushed and held prisoner by a pair of bank robbers.
Behind the scenes in Hollywood, producers Tommy Boyce, Bobby Hart, and Jack Keller brought together legendary Wrecking Crew session musicians like Glen Campbell, Louie Shelton, and James Burton to record the backing tracks.
Meanwhile, Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones brought the songs to life with unforgettable lead vocals, including Micky's soulful performance on their smash debut #1 single "Last Train to Clarksville" and timeless ballads like "I Wanna Be Free."
