On October 11 we extracted the largest single catch for System 002 to-date; 10,086 kg of plastic removed from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch after only 6.5 days, bringing us to a total of 145,518 kg extracted so far.
sampling coffees at work is so fun but I never want to spit them out so I'm just always highly caffeinated at the roastery .... life could be worse
Just tasted some new Peruvian coffees. Fav was full of caramel and toffee notes, with a well-rounded, complex savory & bright finish. Lovely medium roast!

BRAZIL WATCH: Bye Bye #coffee which continues to be uprooted on multiple farms across Brazil's Cerrado region as the increasing losses from frost & drought has made arabica growing economically unviable at prices below $2.80-$3/lb and grains crops are seen as better alternative!!

Tiny Footprint Coffee and our Honduran partners have created the Tiny Carbon Company. We'll be planting endangered trees in deforested areas of Honduras in hopes of rebuilding precious ecosystems.
With team members from the US, Honduras & Ecuador, this mutually beneficial project is focused on sequestering carbon dioxide, rebuilding a biodiverse habitat, and reviving ecosystems on land that has been destroyed by agriculture and deforestation.
