Another good option for increased security of your Discord server. This may not exactly for you, but there are several ways to stop or lessen the impact of malicious raids, so do look around.

!! DONT SUB ON THE PHONE APP FOR TWITCH !!
Apparently a lot of people don’t know about this but apparently hosting services like AppStore and Google store usually take a 30% cut from purchases in an app like Twitch and YouTube. So the app owners usually up the price of said purchase to cover the 30%
Same with YouTube premium! You’re going to save a lot more from doing it from your pc! If you don’t have a laptop or pc then try to do the purchase in safari ! You’re going to save a lot of money!!
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary #Bluesky

Twitch will soon allow you to run your own Gift Sub promotions for 12-hour windows, a limited number of times per year.
These promotions are Shared Discounts, meaning the discounted revenue is split between you and Twitch. (Similar to other 35% gift sub discounts.)

Please let @Twitch know via this uservoice that using genAI for its art assets is unacceptable with so many amazing artists in the community ready and willing to do the work, if they aren't going to use real artists in house.

📣 We're extending the deadline to May 19th, 2025.
We know this change is tough. We've improved download speeds, exports, & expanded bulk selection from 20 to 100 to make it easier to download and delete your highlights.
Changes will roll out in product by the end of the day!
We’re implementing a 100 hr storage limit for Highlights & Uploads starting 4/19. This won’t apply to Past Broadcasts (VODs) or clips.
Less than 0.5% of streamers exceed 100hrs & this content accounts for <0.1% of hours watched. Users will be notified.

Coridden comes out on 29 January 2025. That means we're counting hours to the launch, and we hope you're as excited as we are!
With that, we wanted to set up the expectations at the right level.
Check out what Coridden is, and what Coridden isn't:

Important info if you're partnered with @GamerAdvantage. Whoever has been "handling" the situation also has a history of bigoted postings that you can see for yourself in this thread.

So so sorry to my friends who were impacted by @GamerAdvantage removing all of their partner managers
I will be removing myself from their program and ask that my likeness not be used on their site and affiliate pages moving forward.
A phenomenal brand built by amazing people...all to end like this.
Here's to more devs, studios, and publishers joining Bluesky! So much more interaction and positivity with people actually talking about games over there!
We're there too.
