For my June Local Spotlight, I am highlighting James Joseph — a former Harlem Globetrotter and UPS driver who has installed more than 24,000 air conditioning units and provided washers and dryers to schools in underserved communities throughout Louisiana. Thank you for your commitment to our state, James!
Our very own James "Big Brown" Joseph continues his legacy of giving back to the community. The State of Louisiana awarded James with a 2026 Champion of Volunteerism award.
Back in 2017, James won the UPS Jim Casey Service Award for his outstanding service during Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Let's show some love for "Big Brown" in the comments! ⭐👏

We did it again!👏👏👏 Put your hands together for our dedicated team of UPSers. They totally nailed it - 8 years in a row, we led the industry in average on-time performance for the holiday season.
According to ShipMatrix, we had a 97.2% on-time delivery rate in December 2025 – that's higher than both our biggest competitors.
