The Trump administration is committed to advancing healthcare price transparency, lowering prescription drug costs, and expanding benefits for Americans.
Together with @USDOL Secretary @Sonderling47 and @WhiteHouse DPC Director Vince Haley, we announced the finalization of a rule to bring greater transparency to PBMs and help Americans understand the fees and compensation involved.

During my visit to the @UniversityofKY, I met with college leadership and university presidents from across Kentucky and toured its Institute for Sustainable Manufacturing where students are pairing timely coursework with hands-on training utilizing nine emerging manufacturing technologies to prepare them for the MANUFACTURING BOOM, thanks to @POTUS’ leadership—after graduation.

At the @UniversityofKY, I toured its Hypersonic & @NASA Partnered Research Labs that’s offering students an end-to-end experience in the development of a hypersonic vehicle in addition to providing a direct pipeline of students to NASA’s crucial heat-shield workforce—protecting missions like Artemis and Dragonfly.
As aerospace is quickly becoming one of Kentucky’s leading industries, labs like this are critical to developing the highly skilled workforce to fuel this growing sector.

Today, I joined @CMSGov’s @DrOzCMS and @WhiteHouse Domestic Policy Council Director Vince Haley as @USDOL announced our latest effort to increase healthcare price transparency, lower costs for hardworking Americans, and provide greater benefits across our nation through our finalized Pharmacy Benefit Manager Transparency rule.
This is a win for every American Worker who has ever paid too much at the pharmacy counter and reinforces the Trump Administration’s guiding principle on healthcare—more transparency means more competition, and more competition means lower healthcare costs.
That’s exactly what @POTUS is delivering.
