Thank you Acroe Homes for sponsoring our YDP Under 10s 💙
With so many junior and adult football teams, finding sponsorship for each one can be very difficult. We appreciate all our sponsors 🙏

This November, we’re talking about men’s mental health 💙
At YDP, we’re lucky enough to work with hundreds of boys and young men every week. Our job isn’t just to help them become better sportsmen, it’s to help them grow into confident, kind and resilient young men.
Mental health affects every one of us. Whether it’s a teammate, a coach, a friend or someone at home, reaching out can make all the difference.
If you or someone you know needs support, you’re never alone:
📞 Samaritans - 116 123 (free, 24/7)
📞 Childline - 0800 1111 (for under 19s)
💬 Shout - text SHOUT to 85258
Talk. Listen. Look out for each other. 💙

🔵 TEAM TRAINING 🔵
Sharing ideas and upskilling our staff is so important to us at YDP. It also brings our coaches closer together 💙
This week we covered:
• What makes a great PE session (from planning and delivering to evaluating)
• What schools expect from our YDP staff
• How to make lunch and after school sessions inclusive, engaging and fun
• YDP assessment trackers
• A high focus on Dance and Gymnastics
Ready and raring for the new term 😍

Thank you to Ady and Swimbag who delivered ANAPHYLAXIS AWARENESS training to our team of YDP coaches today. The implications of BENEDICT’S LAW was also covered. Such important topics for our coaches to stay up to date and trained in 🙏
